About

Desert Valley is owned by Victor Mutt and Calamity Fox. We had our spark when we hosted a meet for NM Furries at Denfur 2022. We’re happy and honored to help our local furry community grow and thrive.Our group has the wonderful help from our moderators; local film aficionado Matt Wolfstein and the goodest boy Gareth Wolf.

Our Furmeets

Expect a monthly furmeet on the second weekend of every month. Be sure to check our telegram channel or group chat for more events hosted by us, our members or fellow fur groups.

Code of Conduct

Below is the expected conduct at our furmeeets.

  1. No NSFW attire please

  2. Be respectful of others

  3. Be mindful of the content of your conversations when we are in public.

  4. No weapons, please leave them in the car or preferably at home.

  5. Minors are allowed with parental chaperone. 17 year olds can attend after we receive permission from your parent/guardian.

  6. Please be respectful of property we meet up at.

Our Group Chats

Our groups chats are growing communities and are the quickest way to know what's going on with our furmeets and community. To keep everyone safe, minors are not allowed in the group chats.

How to Join

Reach our to Victor or Calamity to be age verified for the chats, click before for our telegrams.

Below are the rules for our main chat and after dark chat.

Main Chat

  1. This is a SFW chat, no discussions of sexual activities.

  2. No minors. All chat members must be at least 18 years old and must be age verified by an admin.

  3. Be respectful of other chat members.

  4. Please try to keep sticker/message/gif spam to a minimum.

  5. When sharing images, keep spamming reasonable.

  6. Take long one on one discussions to PMs please.

  7. Keep political talk to a minimum, take further discussions to DMs.

  8. Please keep venting appropriate, ask to talk to someone if needed.

  9. Please do not use our group for raffle entries.

  10. If you’d like to advertise anything please ask an admin before posting

  11. We’re not a role play group, please take role play to pms.

After Dark Chat

  1. Consent is rule #1, no is no, please do not joke about consent.

  2. Main chat rules 2-11 apply

  3. When sharing more extreme kinks, please spoiler it.

  4. Spoiler nudes please!

  5. If people express their discomfort; please back off.

  6. Try not to dampen the After Dark vibe, general discussion can be taken to the main chat.
